the Top... QUIET ELECTRIC SAWS Stihl electric saws are ideal wherever noise is undesirable. Plugged into a standard wall outlet, these machines deliver the tried and tested performance of all Stihl chainsaws when working in enclosed premises where lack of ventilation is an issue. All electric saws are equipped with switch lock-out and Quick stop chain brake. If the kickback by the bar and chain exceeds a certain level, the brake is activated bringing the chain to a halt in a fraction of a second. All electric saws are additionally equipped with yet another chain brake function, which stops the chain coasting when the control lever is released.
