ARX SERIES

PETROL ENGINE GENERATORS

Kubota's ARX series clean emission generators are built to last in an ISO 9002 certified production plant. This compact and lightweight series, powered by Kubota's highly durable OHV engines, is rugged enough for heavy duty works at construction sites yet portable enough for recreational use or as an emergency household power source. Noise levels are kept to a minimum with Kubota's superb combustion chamber, original sound reduction design and parts. So, if you are looking for a more reliable and quiet way to generate power, the ARX series is for you.

Reliable Start Ups
· Engines used to power the ARX series are equipped with an automatic decompression system and a maintenance free electronic ignition device to provide easy starting in any type of weather. The automatic decompression system, which has significantly reduced the recoil starter's pulling force, has now made it easy for almost anybody to start the engine. The easy 'One Push' electric start is a standard feature on ARX5500B and ARX6500B.

Kubota's OHV
Kubota's own air-cooled, 4-cycle OHV engines achieve greater combustion efficiency by placing the valve over the cylinder. This way air and fuel are more completely mixed together to achieve greater thermal and fuel efficiency.

Economical and Safe Operation
Improved fuel economy and reduced oil consumption contribute to economical operation. Kubota's OHV engines consume 25% less fuel and 50% less oil than comparable side valve engines. As a safety measure, the Oil Watch system automatically stops the engine operation before the oil reaches an unsafe level.

Lower Noise Level
Kubota's original sound reduction design focuses on air intake, combustion and exhaust systems. Larger air cleaners, Kubota's hight efficient combustion chambers, oversized mufflers help reduce noise levels.

Stable Power Supply
Either the brushless Condenser Load Compensation (CLC) system or the brush type automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) system is used for the generator unit. Both systems ensure consistent output with very little voltage fluctuation.

Convenient Operation
All connectors, indicators and controls are grouped together for convenient operation. Solve the problem of accidental cord unplugging. Built-in circuit breakers/protectors provide additional safety for AC and DC circuits.

KUBOTA SQ SERIES
DIESEL ENGINE GENERATORS


Kubota introduces a new line of low noise heavy-duty 4 pole diesel generators, the SQ Series. Powered by Kubota's own cleaner emission and highly durable E-TVCS combustion system diesel engines, the SQ series ensure a much quieter, more efficient, and longer service life practically anywhere you go

Super Quiet Performance 61-64 dB(A)

  • Sound level has been lowered by the over-sized muffler
  • A special 2 stage muffler system is used in generators powered by V3300 to reduce noise even further
  • Noise within the generator unit has been lowered by improving the noise reduction enclosure and by adding a new noise absorbing duct with 3 air intake holes
  • Kubota not only reduced fan related noise with this larger-diameter, slower speed fan, but also able to maintain the same cooling effect as one running at normal speed
  • A longer air cleaner inlet hose is used to keep the low frequency noise down.

Operator Friendly

  • The SQ series is equipped with large capacity bottom mounted fuel tanks to prevent fuel spills inside the enclosure.
  • The locking fuel cap is placed to avoid damage and simplify refueling.
  • The advanced design and superior engineering minimises both space and weight.
  • Transportability is improved with slots on each side of the machine for safe forklift truck transportation.
  • Four tie down points and sturdy lifting eyes further enhance hoisting and transportation.
  • Every time the engine key is turned ON, air is automatically purged from the fuel system.
  • Locking Control Panel Door shields instrument panel from the elements and permits observation of all key functions without opening the door.
  • Automatic start system for standby applications, wiring and space have been provided as standard equipment.

Safety and Maintenance

  • The cables enter the load centre through a conduit entry placed on the bottom of the unit. Once the terminals are connected, the load centre can be locked to prevent inadvertent contacts.
  • In case of abnormal oil pressure/water temperature, or in case the fan belt breaks', the emergency stop system will automatically shut the unit down. Emergency requires immediate action. With the emergency stop button placed on the outside rather than on the inside, it's now possible to stop the unit in less time.
  • Large, removable doors feature heavy duty steel hinges and recessed locking door latches safeguard against unauthorised use, allow safe, unattended operation and easy maintenance.
  • Engine oil and coolant drain extensions are provided to ease regularly scheduled maintenance.Oil gauge, oil filter, oil replenishment port, fuel filter, water reserve tank, battery and air cleaner are located on one side for quicker inspection and maintenance.

Stable Load
Solid state voltage regulation maintains excellent stability during changing load conditions. Quick response automatically provides stable power to sensitive equipment.

KUBOTA KJ SERIES
DIESEL ENGINE GENERATORS


Kubota's untiring quest for quality led to the development of a new line of heavy-duty 4-pole generators, the KJ Series. The power source is Kubota's own Super 03 Series diesel engines with emission levels far below the set standard according to more efficient, and much longer service life anywhere you need fast, safe and economical electrical power. Every generator in this series is designed, assembled, and tested to guarantee maximum performance and compatibility. KJ Series' alternator and the engine production plants have been approved and awarded ISO 9002 certification by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). When the label reads Kubota, quality is assured.

Dependable Power

  • Brushless Alternator - This brushless, self-excitation type alternator is designed to be used in a wide variety of difficult starting conditions. Its Load Acceptance Module (LAM), enables the engine to accept larger load impacts and to regain its rated speed more quickly. Its convertible (50 Hz) electronic regulator is powered independently from the voltage detection circuit, therefore regulation is not affected by distortions generated by the load.
  • Transistor Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) - All KJ Series generators are equipped with a transistor AVR to regulate a stable flow of current. In addition, any local condition can be matched by using the voltage adjustment.
  • Reduced Sound and Vibration - Kubota's low noise design features quieter engines with the TVCS combustion system, as well as sound attenuated enclosures which effectively reduce all sound levels. Integral vibrations has also been reduced by adding rubber isolating pads in critical areas.

Increased Safety

  • Automatic Shutdown Mechanism - Should any abnormality occur in oil pressure or water temperature, this mechanism automatically stops the engine before it can be damaged.
  • Emergency Unit - Kubota gathered the emergency relay, timer relay, and safety relay into one unit to save space, simplify the wiring scheme, and to improve protection against water, dust, and vibration. An external key switch is part of the standard control system for KJ generators. In addition, a manual engine shutdown lever is available as an emergency backup.
  • Protective Design - All rotating parts of the generator have been enclosed in a sturdy cabinet for maximum operator safety.

Ease of Operation and Portability

  • Convenient Front Panel Control - All switches and lamps are conveniently located in the centre of the front panel for maximum accessibility.
  • Transportability Enhanced by Twin Point Lifting Eye - Twin point lifting eye makes it easy to transport all KJ Series generators.

Simple Maintenance

  • Ease of Access - Oil, fuel, water, and filters are all located on one side for easy maintenance.
  • Automatic Air Bleeding - Air bubbles which can rob the engine of its power are automatically removed from the fuel line.
  • Easy-to-Mount and Remove Battery Pack - The battery pack, located in the rear of the generator, can be easily removed through the back panel.

Cleaner, Quieter, and More Reliable Super 03 Series Diesel Engines

  • Kubota's original TVCS combustion system improved air/fuel mixture, resulting in cleaner engine emissions which comply with US CARB ULGE regulations.
  • Sound levels during load and no-load operations are kept to a minimum with Kubota's world renown diesel engine development technology and the superb TVCS combustion system.
  • Super glow system comes as standard equipment to shorten preheating time and quicken engine start ups in cold temperature.
  • Sturdy built Super 03 Series engines promise great reliability and long service life with advantages to meet most any application.
  • In addition, the Super 03 Series is also designed against asbestos pollution.
